We are developping a high speed, enhanced gigabit switching
network system which cooperates our general purpose massively
parallel operating system.
Communication overhead among user programs
under multiuser/multijob environment is reduced by
supporting hardware, so we can have efficient parallel
execution environment on network of workstaions.
We have implemented network interface hardware for
Sun workstation, and describe the key functions of it
in this paper.
