We implemented fundamental functions of the MPI (Message Passing Interface) standard, using the Memory-Based Communication Facilities (MBCF) which are presented in the SSS-CORE, a general purpose massively parallel operating system. And we measured performance of the implementation, and executed QCDMPI, a quantum chromo dynamics simulation program. As a result, we found that MBCF are effective not only for implementation of distributed shared memory of SSS-CORE, but also for execution of applications written in message passing style.
